Wiltech: técnico de celulares revela que Apple le ofreció ser un servicio de reparación oficial

¿Wiltech se convertirá en un centro de reparación oficial de Apple? Miles de seguidores de Wilmer Becerra quedaron boquiabiertos, después de que el técnico de celulares de nacionalidad colombiana utilizara sus redes sociales (Instagram y TikTok) para revelar que, luego de llegar a buenos términos con la compañía de la manzana mordida, estos se pusieron en contacto y le habrían hecho una insólita proposición. La historia de Wiltech y Apple comenzó hace varias semanas, luego de que el técnico de celulares anunciara en sus redes sociales que los de Cupertino le enviaron una carta notarial para que deje de reparar iPhones. En el documento, la compañía fundada por Steve Jobs realiza otras acusaciones, como usar piezas no oficiales, hacerse pasar por un servicio oficial, tener el logo de la manzana en sus instalaciones, etc.
Tras recibir la carta notarial de Apple, Wiltech salió a negar todas las acusaciones en su contra. Aunque admitió que, en un principio, utilizaba el logo de Apple por desconocimiento, pero dejó de usarlo hace mucho tiempo. Asimismo, descartó hacerse pasar por un servicio técnico oficial, incluso resaltó que si ve que los teléfonos tienen garantía, le recomienda al usuario llevarlo a la compañía.
En lo que respecta a las piezas falsificadas, Wilmer Becerra compartió documentos que muestran que las refacciones fueron compradas a ellos. Por su parte, señaló que «los condensadores, resistencias, bobinas, mosfets amplificadores y demás circuitos electrónicos que se usan para reparar una falla no son propiedad exclusiva de Apple ni tampoco pueden serlo, puesto que son componentes que no pueden ser sujetos a patentes».
¿Wiltech podría ser un servicio técnico oficial?
«Apple, mediante su firma de abogados, me envió un comunicado que decía que yo estaba haciendo malas prácticas con su logo, con las reparaciones, etc. Nosotros respondimos que estamos haciendo las cosas como se deben y que estábamos atendiendo a unos clientes que ellos (por falta de garantía) no estaban atendiendo. Ellos respondieron que no hay problema, que están contentos que nosotros no usemos su manzana y que sigamos reparando sus equipos, incluso nos dan una alternativa para volvernos un reparador oficial, que estamos en proceso», señaló el joven colombiano.
