WhatsApp prepara gran cambio y te dejará intercambiar mensajes con otras apps de mensajería

Hace poco la Unión Europea aprobó la normativa que regula la competencia del mercado tecnológico bajo la denominada Ley de Mercados Digitales (DMA). La medida se encargará de obligar que las grandes firmas, como Google, Meta y Microsoft ofrezcan a las personas herramientas para que se comuniquen entre sí, aunque utilicen distintas apps.
WhatsApp es la aplicación de mensajería que debe adaptarse a la nueva normativa y por ello prepara un cambio significativo que marca un antes y después en su historia. Según WABetaInfo, la más reciente Beta para Android con versión 2.23.19.8, revela que se trabaja en la característica que permite que usuarios de otros servicios se comuniquen con los suyos.
En pocas palabras, aquellos internautas que no utilicen WhatsApp podrán comunicarse con aquellos que sí lo son y desde cualquier plataforma, como Signal, Telegram, Facebook Messenger, Viber, Line y más. Además, no será necesario que se pague por un servicio de suscripción o que se instalen extensiones, ya que el mecanismo se incorpora desde la interfaz nativa del aplicativo de Meta.
