Usar mascarilla en espacios abiertos dejó de ser obligatorio en Pekín
China parece estar dejando atrás -de a pocos- el fantasma del COVID-19.
El uso de la mascarilla en espacios abiertos como método de prevención de contagios por el nuevo coronavirus dejó de ser obligatorio en Pekín, informó este domingo el Centro de Prevención y Control de Enfermedades de la capital de China. Sin embargo, las autoridades sanitarias capitalinas recomendaron que se sigan manteniendo distancias de seguridad con el resto de conciudadanos.
Desde enero, la mascarilla se había convertido en indispensable en la capital de China. Muchas tiendas no permitían el acceso a sus instalaciones sin su uso y los agentes de las fuerzas de seguridad exigían a los viandantes que se la hubieran retirado momentáneamente que se la colocaran de nuevo.
Según los datos publicados hasta este domingo por la Comisión Nacional de Sanidad chino, quedan en el país asiático 86 contagiados activos de coronavirus, de los cuales 10 se encuentran en estado grave. Desde el inicio del brote, China ha registrado 4 634 muertes por la COVID-19 entre los 82 947 infectados diagnosticados hasta el momento.
