Sobreviviente de la II Guerra Mundial, un atentado nazi, un accidente aéreo, un cáncer, vence al coronavirus a sus 99 años

La británica Joy Andrew, que el próximo 22 de noviembre cumplirá 100 años, se recuperó del covid-19.
Según su hija, Michele, Joy fue diagnosticada con la infección en mayo. Dos semanas después fue trasladada a una unidad de cuidados finales, a donde incluso concurió Michele para decirle adiós. Para sorpresa de todos, al poco su estado de salud empezó a mejorar y finalmente fue dada de alta, y ahora continúa su recuperación en la familia.

Después de la victoria contra Hitler fue trasladada a Dusseldorf, en Alemania, donde tuvo un grave accidente de tráfico. Posteriormente se enteró de que su chofer era un nazista oculto y se había estrellado deliberadamente para asesinarla.
