Queman vivo a un hombre en Guatemala: pobladores lo acusaban de “practicar brujería”
Los lugareños llevaron al individuo a un campo y le prendieron fuego. Este intentó correr para apagar las llamas, pero no pudo evitar su muerte.
Un hombre de la comunidad Chimay, en Petén (Guatemala), falleció tras ser quemado vivo por los pobladores del lugar, quienes lo acusaban de “practicar la brujería” y causarle la muerte a un vecino suyo. Las autoridades locales anunciaron la captura de los responsables.
La víctima respondía al nombre de Domingo Choc y tenía unos 36 años de edad. Medios locales citados por el diario Publinews Guatemala señalaron que el individuo se dedicaba a practicar la medicina natural para curar pacientes. No obstante, residentes de la zona lo acusaron de provocar el deceso de un poblador.

“Dicen que era un brujo; sin embargo, ninguna razón es justificación para quitarle la vida a un ser humano. Es la justicia la que debe llevar estos casos. Nadie tiene el derecho de quitarle la vida”, expresó Burgos, quien también anunció que se realizarán las investigaciones del caso y las capturas de los responsables.
