PS5: eBay advierte que están vendiendo cajas vacías de la consola a 609 mil colones
La conocida tienda digital señaló que ya trabaja para detener a los estafadores. Muchos usuarios reportaron haber caído en este fraude al intentar adquirir la PS5.
De nunca acabar. Las consolas de nueva generación se han convertido en el producto deseado para muchos gamers; sin embargo, la escasez de PS5 y Xbox Series X|S en muchos mercados del mundo es aprovechado por estafadores en las tiendas digitales como eBay.
Los problemas de fraude con PS5 continúan en dicha plataforma, ya que algunos jugadores reportaron en redes sociales y foros haber sido engañados al recibir fotografías de la PlayStation 5 en lugar de la consola. Por si no lo sabías, la tienda está repleta de ofertas que ofrecen el sistema a precios tan altos que duplican el valor de la máquina en tiendas oficiales.
En las últimas horas se ha detectado una nueva forma de estafa en la tienda. Esta consiste en la aparición de ofertas de PlayStation 5 con fotografías de la máquina, el mando DualSense y sus accesorios. Luego esperan a que alguien compre el producto para retirar lo que hay dentro de él y enviar el paquete vacío.
Por si fuera poco, las transacciones por estas cajas de vacías se efectúan a precios que van desde lo 700 hasta los 1.000 dólares(aproximadamente 609 mil colones). Ante lo sucedido, eBay se ha pronunciado para anunciar que perseguirá y castigará a todas las personas que traten de realizar este tipo de ventas.
Uno de los gamers que fue víctima de esta estafa decidió utilizar su cuenta de YouTube para explicar todo lo que sucede con las ventas de PlayStation 5 y advirtió a los demás sobre los fraudes en la plataforma.
