Presidente Bukele puso a trabajar a reos para ayudar a familias afectadas por Eta
Reos cargaron más de 30.000 paquetes con alimentos para las familias afectadas por Eta.
Brandon Díaz – La semana pasada el huracán Eta entro al territorio centroamericano afectando a gran parte de Nicaragua, Honduras y Guatemala, sin embargo, a pesar de la lejanía, también hubo afectación indirecta en Costa Rica, provocando cierre de carreteras, carros y viviendas afectadas, entre otros daños.
El Gobierno de El Salvado preparó una ayuda humanitaria para enviarla a Guatemala y Honduras como muestra de solidaridad, este país necesitaba cargar los productos y para ello se utilizó la ayuda de más de 500 privados de libertad en condición de confianza.
De acuerdo con la Secretaría de Prensa de la Presidencia de El Salvador, por medio de su cuenta oficial de twitter dieron a conocer que desde ayer se avanza con la logística para hacer la entrega de ayuda humanitaria a los dos países centroamericanos antes mencionados, ya que fueron fuertemente golpeados por Eta.
Se utilizó la colaboración de los privados de libertad para cargar los paquetes con alimentos no perecederos, los reos cuentan con un estatus de confianza.
“Más de 500 privados de libertad en fase de confianza cargan los #PaquetesAlimentarios que serán enviados a Honduras y Guatemala, países que se han visto fuertemente afectados por las lluvias generadas por el fenómeno natural Eta”, publicó la Secretaría de Prensa de la Presidencia.
Según informan, los camiones se encuentran en el puesto fronterizo de San Cristóbal y el personal de la Dirección General de Migración de ese país se encarga del trámite para la salida de la ayuda humanitaria con destino de Honduras y Guatemala.
De acuerdo con William Hernández, director general de Protección Civil de El Salvador, se pretende hacer varias misiones para ayudar a los países vecinos, entre las ayudas destaca el rescate de personas y levantar escombros.
“Son varias misiones las que llevamos. La principal es la asistencia médica, la segunda es la logística, la tercera es la búsqueda de rescate de cuerpos y levantamiento de daños”, dijo Hernández.
Son 30.000 paquetes con alimentos los que se trasladan en este momento a las familias más afectadas por el huracán Eta.
