Polémica en Brasil. Durante una transmisión en vivo este jueves 30 de abril, Jair Renan, hijo menor del presidente Jair Bolsonaro, se burló del coronavirus (COVID-19).
El estudiante de derecho dijo entre risas que la pandemia es una «historia de los medios» y minimizó el virus como lo viene haciendo su padre, el gobernante ultraderechista.
Y añadió: «Esta es la historia de los medios allí para encerrarte en la casa, para pensar que el mundo se está acabando. Hace un poco de frío, hermano, tómalo por el cu…».
Durante las declaraciones, Jair Renan se confunde: «Prefiero morir tosiendo que morir teniendo sexo… quiero decir, prefiero morir teniendo sexo que tosiendo».
«Tuve que tomarlo, pero el niobio y el grafeno estaban celosos», respondió entre risas.
Coronavirus en Brasil: Jair Bolsonaro minizima COVID-19
El mandatario de Brasil, que acostumbra a minusvalorar la gravedad del coronavirus (COVID-19), a la que califica de «gripecita», se acercó, sin ningún tipo de protección, a una multitud que le jaleaba entre gritos de «mito, mito, mito», que es como le apodan sus simpatizantes.
Este jueves, Jair Bolsonaro volvió a contrariar las recomendaciones sanitarias de evitar aglomeraciones tras saludar a un grupo de simpatizantes en un acto militar celebrado en el centro histórico de Porto Alegre (sur).
Esta no es la primera vez que Bolsonaro desoye las recomendaciones sanitarias, pues, desde la irrupción de la crisis sanitaria, ha paseado varias veces por Brasilia y participado en protestas a favor de su Gobierno porque, según él, tiene que «estar con el pueblo».
El mandatario se ha mostrado contrario a la adopción de medidas de aislamiento social y pedido el fin de las cuarentenas, impuestas, con mayor o menor grado, en los 27 estados de Brasil ante el coronavirus (COVID-19).
Bolsonaro también ha exigido la vuelta “inmediata” a la normalidad e incentivado a los brasileños a que vuelvan a sus puestos de trabajo, además de insinuar que no puede hacer nada ante el crecimiento de los fallecimientos por coronavirus.
