Policía evacuó la Torre Eiffel por amenaza de bomba
SETE, el organismo que administra el monumento, dijo que expertos en desactivación de bombas y policías registraron la Torre Eiffel.
Una amenaza de bomba provocó este sábado 12 de agosto, la evacuación de la Torre Eiffel, uno de los monumentos más emblemáticos de París, en Francia, durante dos horas.
SETE, el organismo que administra el monumento, dijo que expertos en desactivación de bombas y policías registraron el área, incluido un restaurante ubicado en uno de sus tres pisos.
Los visitantes que estaban en la Torre Eiffel, fueron evacuados tanto de los tres pisos como de la plaza bajo el monumento poco después de las 13:30 horas (11:30 GMT).
“Se levantó la alerta hacia las 15:30 y se volvió a abrir el acceso al público”, informaron las autoridades.
La Torre Eiffel, de 324 metros de altura, fue construida en 1889 por Gustave Eiffel, recibe a cerca de 7 millones de visitantes por año. Es uno de los monumentos más visitados del mundo.
