Policía de Nicaragua rescata a madre y bebé atrapados por inundación de Iota
El rescate de la madre y su bebé fue grabado y se volvió viral en las redes sociales, por la peligrosa tarea que hizo el policía
Managua, Nicaragua.- La Policía de Nicaragua rescató el martes a una madre y su bebé que estaban atrapados en su casa, por una inundación provocada por las intensas lluvias del fenómeno meteorológico Iota.
El rescate, que se registró en la comunidad San Lucía ubicada en el municipio El Cuá, departamento de Jinotega, fue grabado y se volvió viral en las redes sociales por la peligrosa escena.
Las imágenes muestran a un policía con un bebé en su espalda pasando un rio arriba de una cuerda negra, mientras la corriente le dificultaba la tarea. En la otra orilla un grupo de personas estaba esperándolo y juntos pudieron poner a salvo a la criatura.
Al final del video el hombre le entrega el bebé a una mujer para que lo atienda hasta que llegue su madre, que en ese momento estaba esperando para también cruzar el río.
Iota tocó tierra el lunes 16 de noviembre en Nicaragua como un huracán categoría 5 (la máxima en la escala Saffir-Simpson) y aunque poco después se degradó a tormenta tropical, miles de personas resultaron afectas por las intensas lluvias, quedaron incomunicadas, sin agua ni luz.
