Para que se animen, regalan marihuana a quien se vacune contra Covid-19 en EUA
El colectivo activista DC Marijuana Justice lanzó una campaña para animar a la gente a inmunizarse con el fármaco al tiempo que pretenden exponer que la marihuana necesita “un mejor marco regulador” en Norteamérica.
Si viven en la capital de los Estados Unidos y les faltaba un empujoncito para animarse a vacunarse contra el Covid-19, aquí lo tienen: marihuana gratis para aquellos que decidan colocarse el fármaco inmunizante contra el coronavirus.
Parece broma, pero no lo es. A través de un comunicado, el colectivo activista DC Marijuana Justice (DCMJ) ha informado que todo aquel que se vacune recibirá gratis una bolsita de marihuana, si es que así lo desea como parte de la campaña #JointsforJabs (porros en vez de golpes).
La idea del colectivo es tanto animar a la gente a vacunarse, en uno de los países donde la cultura antivacunas está más arraigada, como demostrar que se necesita un marco regulador más específico para la cannabis.
“Este esfuerzo comunitario tiene como objetivo resaltar la necesidad de una mayor reforma de la cannabis a nivel local y nacional, al tiempo que aboga por la distribución equitativa de la vacuna”, se lee en el boletín.
“Para celebrar esta ocasión trascendental y agradecer a la gente por vacunarse, decenas de cultivadores locales de DC distribuirán legalmente bolsas de cannabis gratis fuera de los centros de vacunación tan pronto como el público en general pueda vacunarse”, afirmó DCMJ.
Toda la marihuana que repartan los activistas será comprada a gente que cultiva legalmente este producto. Además, en ningún caso se rebasará la dosis permitida por persona en Washington DC, la capital de los Estados Unidos.

Sin embargo, habrá que esperar un poco, puesto que la distribución se hará hasta que se termine de vacunar a la población mayor. Nikolas Schiller, cofundador del colectivo, se mostró emocionado por lo que este proyecto podría lograr para la aceptación de la marihuana.
“Cuando se vacune a un número suficiente de adultos con la vacuna contra el coronavirus, será el momento de celebrar, no solo el fin de la pandemia, sino el comienzo del fin de la prohibición de la cannabis”, afirmó el colectivo en el comunicado.
