Ocho niños mueren ahogados tras intentar rescatar a uno de sus amigos que cayó al río
Los menores de edad, quienes jugaban en un río de China, fallecieron luego de que uno cayera al agua y los demás saltaran para tratar de salvarlo.
Ocho niños perdieron la vida en un río localizado en la comunidad de Chongqing, al sur de China, después de que uno de ellos cayera al agua y los otros siete trataran de rescatarlo, pero sus esfuerzos fueron en vano y el accidente terminó en tragedia.
La lamentable historia se registró este domingo, cuando un grupo de estudiantes de primaria se divertía en la orilla del río Fu y uno de ellos se cayó en el agua, reveló South China Morning Post.
Tras descubrir el desafortunado incidente, el gobierno local envió inmediatamente un equipo de rescate. Cuando llegaron al lugar empezaron a buscar en las riberas del lugar y prepararon balsas mientras los pobladores miraban la operación.
En conversación con el medio local, los aldeanos indicaron que la parte del río donde cayeron los pequeños tenía al menos 50 metros de ancho. Además, la mayoría de las víctimas eran niñas.
Mientras los agentes cumplían con la operación de salvamento, se estaba llevando a cabo una investigación por parte de las autoridades, quienes recopilaron testimonios de los residentes que vivían en los alrededores del lugar donde ocurrió la desgracia. Asimismo, se dio aviso a las familias de los pequeños, que quedaron devastadas al enterarse de la terrible noticia.
