Murió Abigail, niña cargada en brazos por su padre para llegar al hospital
Su padre hizo lo imposible por salvarla, pero desafortunadamente Abigail perdió la batalla contra el cáncer con tan solo 12 años.
Argentina.- En el mes de noviembre se dio a conocer el caso de la niña Abigail Jiménez, quien fue cargada por su padre para llegar a Santiago de Estéreo ya que les negaron la entrada en auto, murió este domingo a causa del cáncer que padecía.
El cuadro de salud de la niña era muy grave, tanto que sus padres decidieron trasladarla a su casa en Las Termas de Río Hondo lugar donde perdió la vida este domingo, 31 de enero a las 07:00 de la tarde .
El 16 de noviembre del 2020 se viralizó un video de un padre quien llevaba en brazos a su hija desde Tucumán para trasladarla a un hospital en la Provincia de Santiago Estéreo, luego de que autoridades le negaron cruzar en el auto por supuestas medidas sanitarias a causa del Covid-19.
En la grabación se podía ver a Abigail llorando mientras su papá la bajaba del carro frente a un efectivo del puesto de control, quien le había dicho que ocupaba autorización previa del Comité de Emergencia para cruzar en carro, pero era necesario ingresarla a un hospital de manera inmediata ya que padecía cáncer Sarcoma de Ewing.
Semanas antes la pequeña Abigail había sido internada al Centro Provisional de Salud Infantil de Santiago Estéreo luego de que tuviera una recaída, pero lamentablemente se agravó por lo que fue trasladada a su casa, luego de que médicos indicarán que ya no le quedaba mucho tiempo, fue decisión de su familia y de ella volver a su hogar.
La niña tenía un tumor en su pierna izquierda y luchaba contra él desde el 2016, en ese período recibió un trasplante, en 2019 tuvo una recaída y comenzó a recibir quimioterapias hasta diciembre del 2017, posteriormente siguió con tratamiento paliativo ya que el anterior le caía muy mal.
