Madre de Frank Rubio tras regreso de su hijo que pasó 1 año en el espacio: ‘Estoy orgullosa’
La mamá de Frank Rubio declaró que probablemente vería al astronauta salvadoreño en diciembre. Asimismo, reveló cuál fue el último mensaje de su hijo antes de volver a la Tierra.
¡Frank Rubio regresó a la Tierra! Estados Unidos, El Salvador y el resto del mundo lo celebran, pero nadie como la familia. Myrna Argueta, la madre del astronauta, expresó su orgullo a los medios locales tras la llegada de su hijo a la Tierra, quien pasó más de un año en el espacio. Asimismo, reveló que próximamente vería Frank.
“Me siento orgullosa. El orgullo de una madre. Bendito sea Dios que lo pudo lograr y están demostrando que ellos están preparados para eso”, fueron las primeras palabras de la madre de Rubio, quien presenció el exitoso aterrizaje en el parque central de Conchagua, en San Salvador.
Como se sabe, Rubio, estadounidense de origen salvadoreño, batió el récord de la misión espacial más larga realizada por Mark Vande Hei, según la NASA.

«Hace tres días me llamó y me dijo: ‘Mami, esta es la última llamada que le doy del espacio porque ya no voy a poder llamarle más. Así que nos vemos en la Tierra’. Esa fue su despedida», contó Argueta.
