La lideresa del Congreso de Estados Unidos llama a Biden “presidente electo”
“Estoy oficialmente satisfecha con el resultado, que es inminente y personalmente encantada por la calidad del liderazgo de Biden”, dijo Nancy Pelosi.
La lideresa de la Cámara de Representantes de Estados Unidos, Nancy Pelosi, ofreció este viernes 6 de noviembre una rueda de prensa en la cual se refirió al candidato demócrata Joe Biden como el “presidente electo”, a pesar de que aún no hay un ganador oficial.
Citada por el diario The Jerusalem Post, la demócrata sostuvo que Biden unirá a Estados Unidos, pero aún así llamó a la ciudadanía a ser paciente mientras se cuentan los votos en algunos estados clave, en los cuales el presidente Donald Trump aspira a revertir la tendencia.
“El presidente electo Biden tiene un fuerte mandato que liderar”, aseguró Pelosi a los reporteros presentes en la conferencia de prensa. “Estoy oficialmente satisfecha con el resultado, que es inminente y personalmente encantado por la calidad del liderazgo de Biden”, expresó.

Sumado a esto, se mostró confiada de que Biden y su compañera de fórmula, la candidata a la vicepresidencia, Kamala Harris, “irán a la Casa Blanca”.
Desde el bando republicano, la campaña de reelección de Trump insistió este viernes 6 de noviembre en que “estas elecciones no han terminado”, e incluso consideran “falsas” las proyecciones de los medios de comunicación en favor del exvicepresidente.
Uno de los abogados de Trump, Matt Morgan, no aportó pruebas, pero aún así mantuvo su teoría de que están erradas las estimaciones que colocan a Biden a la cabeza en Arizona, Georgia, Pensilvania y Nevada, estados que el mandatario necesita para obtener el triunfo.
La agencia AP y la cadena conservadora Fox News mantienen que Biden tiene 264 delegados en el Colegio Electoral, pero otros medios, como The New York Times o CNN aún no le cuentan los 11 de Arizona, por lo cual le otorgan 253.
Aún así, Biden es quien está más cerca de los 270 votos electorales que dan la victoria en Estados Unidos, mientras que Trump suma 214 y sostiene un intenso accionar judicial para evitar que se cuenten los votos donde está por detrás en las papeletas.
