Joven mujer fue hallada muerta tras ser estafada en la compra de un costoso teléfono celular
La joven de 19 años creyó haber hecho la compra de un celular en internet, pero estafadores se llevaron el dinero que pagó. Fue hallada muerta en su casa.
Una joven tailandesa intentó comprar un teléfono celular de alta gama en internet, terminó siendo víctima de una estafa y luego fue hallada muerta. Las autoridades ahora buscan a quienes engañaron a la mujer.
Atiya, una estudiante de 19 años de la provincia de Nakhon Si Thammarat, sur de Tailandia, pagó 20.000 baht por un iPhone 13 a una supuesta tienda que estaba vendiendo el celular por medio de Facebook.
«A pesar de realizar los pagos, la estudiante nunca recibió el iPhone. Se comunicó con la tienda varias veces para solicitar un reembolso. Sin embargo, los estafadores respondieron pidiéndole 2.000 baht adicionales como garantía por el teléfono, que ella transfirió», relató el informativo local.
Al darse cuento que había sido estafada, Atiya entró en un estado de angustia por el dinero que había perdido, pues parte de este había sido prestado por sus cercanos.
El coronel de la Policía Sawat Niyomdet, jefe de investigación de la comisaría de Koh Thuad, aseguró que se comenzaron las investigaciones para dar con las personas que estaban detrás de la tienda ficticia.
