Italia extenderá medidas restrictivas contra el coronavirus hasta marzo
Italia no concede ningún tipo de apertura ante los últimos datos. Este miércoles superó los 80.000 muertos en total por COVID-19, solo Reino Unido tiene más decesos en Europa.
El Consejo de Ministros de Italia aprobó anoche el decreto con el que se extiende el estado de emergencia hasta el 30 de abril y las medidas restrictivas actualmente vigentes, y en algunos casos con mayores limitaciones, hasta el 5 de marzo.
Aunque aún no se conocen los detalles de este nuevo decreto que tendrá que ser publicado en el Boletín del Estado en breve, el ministro de Sanidad, Roberto Speranza, dio los principales detalles en una comparecencia ante el Parlamento.
Además, Italia aprobó la prorroga desde el 31 de enero hasta el 30 de abril del estado de emergencia, lo que permitirá el Gobierno aprobar decretos con urgencia.
La principal novedad del decreto que entrará en vigor el 16 de enero es que se extiende a más de un mes, hasta ahora se aprobaban mensualmente, y además prohíbe los movimientos entre regiones hasta el 5 de marzo.
El toque de queda se confirma desde las 22.00 horas hasta las 5.00, y los bares y restaurantes continuarán cerrados a partir de las 18.00 horas, así como todos los gimnasios, piscinas y cines.
La única apertura es la de los museos, solo en aquellas regiones que sean consideradas de riesgo amarillo, es decir, con un menor índice rt en los contagios.
La otra novedad se refiere al establecimiento de una ‘zona blanca’, donde se restaurarán casi todos los aspectos de la vida cotidiana, desde los desplazamientos hasta los horarios de apertura de bares y restaurantes.
Como siempre, corresponderá al Ministerio de Salud identificar qué regiones se ubican “en un escenario tipo 1 y con un nivel de riesgo bajo”, siempre que al mismo tiempo “una incidencia semanal de infecciones, durante dos semanas consecutivas, sea inferior a 50 casos cada 100.000 habitantes “.
Una situación epidemiológica que actualmente no se presenta en ninguna región del país.

En total, han perdido la vida 80.326 personas desde que se desatara la crisis, en febrero de 2020, y de este modo Italia es el segundo país europeo con más muertos, solo superado por Reino Unido (83.345), según los datos de la Universidad Johns Hopkins.
Por otro lado, se confirmaron 15.774 nuevos contagios, un aumento en línea con el de los últimos días, y se han realizado unos 175.000 test de diagnósticos.
