Hospital hizo pasar a paciente muerta como viva para que familiares no se dieran cuenta
Asimismo, llamaron a la familia instándola para que la ‘desconectaran’ del soporte vital. La paciente ya había muerto hace dos horas en cirugía.
Una insólita y repugnante situación se produjo en Chillicothe, Ohio, luego que un hospital hiciera pasar como «viva» a una paciente que ya había muerto para que sus familiares no se percataran.
Según recoge el Daily Mail, Sheila Sue Trimble (65) ingresó al hospital Adena Health para una cateterización cardíaca el pasado 18 de agosto.
Hospital llamó a la familia para que la «desconectaran»:
La familia ingresó a la habitación de Trimble a eso de las 15.00 horas, sin embargo, registros vistos por un medio local, aseguran que la mujer murió a eso de las 13.00 hrs, es decir, dos horas antes.
Asimismo, existen acusaciones de que el médico tratante, el Dr. Jarrod Betz, habría cortado una arteria durante la cirugía , las cuales se suman a investigaciones previas por no tener las credenciales suficientes para realizar procedimientos cardíacos complicados y avanzados.
La familia de Trimble inició acciones legales en contra del hospita y contra del médico.
