Hija de Robin Williams critica uso de la IA para recrear la voz de su padre

Zelda Williams, la hija del recordado actor Robin Williams, arremetió contra el uso de la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) en la industria del cine.
La familiar del difunto intérprete publicó un escrito en sus redes sociales donde cuestiona la utilización de la IA para recrear la voz de su padre. Todo en el marco de las demandas que exigen los y las actores de Hollywood respecto a la prohibición de la Inteligencia Artificial y el uso de sus voces.
En este contexto, la mujer asegura que ya ha escuchado cómo se utiliza la IA para que su ‘voz’ diga lo que la gente quiera, lo cual le «parece inquietante, las ramificaciones van mucho más allá de mis propios sentimientos».
Cabe recordar que, los dirigentes del sindicato de guionistas Writers Guild of America (WGA) aprobaron un acuerdo salarial firmado con los estudios autorizando el regreso al trabajo de sus miembros tras una huelga que duró casi cinco meses y paralizó Hollywood.
No obstante, en el caso de los actores y actrices, se retomarán las negociaciones esta semana.
