La “Pinkglow” es cultivada en Buenos Aires de Puntarenas.
Tal parece que, a la empresaria, Kim Kardashian, le gusta mucho Costa Rica, y esto lo ha demostrado más de una vez en sus redes sociales, tal como lo hizo recientemente al compartir que estaba consumiendo una fruta que es cosechada exclusivamente en nuestro país.
Se trata de la famosa piña rosada “Pinkglow”, que su valor aproximado es de $50 por unidad.
Kim compartió una foto en sus historias de Instagram donde muestra un plato con la exótica fruta, la cual es cultivada en Buenos Aires de Puntarenas y está patentada por la empresa Fresh Del Monte.
Este tipo de piña es bastante exclusiva y debido a su alto costo solo se consigue en ciertos negocios internacionales, además, de en su pagina web https://www.pinkglowpineapple.com/
En cuanto al color de esta fruta se debe a la presencia del licopeno en la piña, según explico Michael Calderón, vocero de la compañía.
“La coloración rosada se debe a la presencia del licopeno, el caroteno que le da el tono rosado/rojizo a las flores y frutas como la sandía, la zanahoria, el tomate, la guayaba, etc. Gracias a la concentración de licopeno y de forma similar a estos productos, esta piña tiene ese color en su interior”, explicó Michael Calderón, vocero de la compañía.
La famosa “Pinkglow”, además, de ser exclusiva, también cuenta con altas cantidad de antioxidantes, los cuales tienen propiedades nutricionales que pueden ayudar a prevenir enfermedades como el cáncer.
