Equipo de campaña de Trump pide detener conteo de votos en Nevada por irregularidades
Los republicanos aseguran que en el estado votaron ciudadanos que ya no son residentes.
El equipo de campaña reelección del presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, anunció la presentación de una querella en los juzgados de Nevada para detener el cómputo de sufragios al asegurar que se están contando “votos ilegales”.
En una rueda de prensa en Las Vegas, la campaña del republicano aseguró tener pruebas de que votaron alrededor de 10 mil personas que ya no residen en el estado, una cifra superior al margen de victoria que por ahora tiene Biden sobre Trump.
Adam Laxalt, parte del equipo de campaña de Trump, exigió frenar el conteo de votos por la situación “inusual’’ que presenta el estado durante las elecciones presidenciales.
“Las papeletas no son automáticamente votos legales hasta ser verificadas”, dijo uno de los miembros de la campaña
También denunciaron que no les han permitido “verificar muchas de estas papeletas. Esto es lo que está ocurriendo en Nevada. Hemos pedido respuestas y no nos han dado ninguna”. Aseguran que pedirán medidas cautelares porque “siguen contando votos ilegales”.
Hasta el momento, Georgia, Pensilvania, Michigan y Wisconsin son los estado donde el equipo de campaña de Donald Trump, han presentado demandas para exigir voto por voto durante las elecciones presidenciales de 2020, pues suponen que hay algunos que se emitieron fuera de tiempo o, como en Nevada, hay voto de residentes ilegales.
