Desenfreno en EE. UU.: cientos de personas armaron fiesta en piscina durante crisis por COVID-19
El hecho se dio en el lago de Ozarks, en Missouri. Los ciudadanos celebraron el ‘Día de los Caídos’; se abrazaron, bebieron y comieron pese a las estrictas normas de sanidad.
Se desató el desenfreno en Estados Unidos. El último fin de semana, las autoridades de Missouri dieron luz verde a restaurantes y bares para que puedan abrir sus puertas durante el plan de reactivación económica del país. Pese a que se dictaminaron estrictas normas de distanciamiento social por la COVID-19, cientos de habitantes hicieron caso omiso y organizaron una fiesta en la piscina de uno de estos establecimientos.
De acuerdo al video subido por The Washington Post, se puede ver que los letreros indicaban a los ciudadanos a respetar las normas establecidas. Sin embargo, en la fiesta no acataron las medidas. Las imágenes se volvieron virales en las redes sociales, generando diversos comentarios. Algunos estuvieron de acuerdo, mientras que otros se indignaron.
“¿Cuántas muertes les tomará a los estadounidenses darse cuenta de que esto es grave? La respuesta simple es una, alguien a quien amas. Pero, ¿cuántas muertes hasta que [pase] eso? ¿Un millón, dos millones, 10 millones de estadounidenses tienen que morir antes de que la gente entienda? 100.000 obviamente no es suficiente”, escribió una usuaria en Twitter, que arremetió contra esta irresponsable fiesta.

“Es realmente desmoralizante para los trabajadores de la salud en primera línea tener que ver este tipo de exhibición, sabiendo muy bien que algunas de estas personas se presentarán a la sala de emergencias en aproximadamente una semana”, publicó el autor del video.
