Derrumbe en mina de China deja al menos 2 muertos y más de 50 personas desaparecidas
La emergencia se produjo en la región china de Mongolia Interior. Decenas de empleados y vehículos quedaron atrapados por lo que al lugar fueron enviados más de 300 socorristas.
En China, al menos 2 personas murieron, 6 resultaron heridas y 53 seguían desaparecidas este miércoles, 22 de febrero de 2023, tras el derrumbe de una mina de carbón en la región de Mongolia Interior (norte), informaron medios estatales.
«Varios empleados y vehículos quedaron sepultados» en el derrumbe de la mina, gestionada por la empresa Xinjing Coal Mining Company, informó la cadena estatal CCTV.
El accidente se produjo hacia las 13h00 horas en una mina a cielo abierto de la liga (una división administrativa) de Alxa, en el oeste de la región, informó CCTV.
Otros medios y organismos gubernamentales hablaron del incidente como de un «corrimiento de tierras».
Ocho equipos de rescate, que representan más de 330 socorristas, fueron enviados al lugar para las operaciones de rescate, según el medio en línea The Paper.
Mongolia Interior es una de las principales regiones productoras de carbón de China.
Un video publicado en las redes sociales por alguien que se presenta como un camionero que transportaba carbón muestra rocas cayendo en cascada por una ladera, levantando nubes de polvo.
