Coronavirus: lágrimas y aplausos para un bebé dado de alta después de luchar 70 días contra el Covid-19
Médicos y personal auxiliar vivieron un momento de gran emoción cuando la familia del menor recibió el alta en un hospital de Valencia, España.
Sonoros aplausos acompañaron la salida de un bebé del hospital Vithas 9 de Octubre de Valencia (España), después de que el niño de dos meses y medio de vida lograra curarse de Covid-19.
Tras luchar 70 días contra la enfermedad del menor de sus pacientes, los médicos informaron que ya se encuentra completamente recuperado. Petru se contagió en el hogar familiar -donde su hermano había sido detectado como portador asintomático- y debió ser llevado de urgencia al mismo lugar donde nació, a los nueve días de que su madre diera a luz.
Tanto el padre del chico como su mamá escribieron mensajes de agradecimiento en las redes sociales, dirigidas al equipo de profesionales que atendió a Petru, familiares y amigos. «Felices de estar todos juntos en casa», publicó José Montoro.
Por su parte, las autoridades del hospital felicitaron, a través de su cuenta oficial de Twitter, «a los profesionales del centro por su trabajo, al pequeño Petru por su valentía y a sus papás, Cristina y José, por confiar en nosotros».
El momento más emotivo de todo el proceso que debió atravesar el bebé se vivió el Día de Reyes, cuando los profesionales comunicaron el alta hospitalaria y Petru recorrió los pasillos del centro de salud, dormido en su carrito y llevado por sus padres, en medio de los aplausos, lágrimas y palabras de aliento del personal.
«Ni yo ni mi familia olvidaremos jamás la solidaridad y las muestras de afecto demostrados por todo el centro hospitalario», afirmó Cristina, la madre de Petru, antes de emprender el regreso a su casa.
