Coronavirus en Miami: nuevo récord de casos en la Florida
Desde que se relajaron las medidas de cuarentena, se incrementaron los contagios.
La pandemia de coronavirus sigue golpeando con fuerza a Estados Unidos. A pesar de que en los últimos días muchos Estados relajaron las restricciones y los confinamientos, los números de infectados marcan una realidad diferente.
El Departamento de Salud de Florida informó que el número de casos de coronavirus en el Estado se incrementó en 2.783 contagios en un día. Es la cifra más elevada en esa zona desde el inicio de la pandemia
Miami-Dade es el lugar que tiene la mayor cantidad de casos: 22.301 desde el inicio de la pandemia. En un día sumó 761 casos positivos.
Los casos en la Florida se distribuyen de la siguiente manera: Condado Osceola 866 casos. Condado Orange 3,437. Condado Seminole 836. Condado Lake 498. Condado Volusia 969 y Condado Brevard 608 casos.
El plan de reapertura de Florida del gobernador Ron DeSantis consta de tres fases a las que se van sumando los condados a medida que la situación lo permite.
Las autoridades afirmaron que si llega a producirse algún repunte de casos de coronavirus en algún condado o municipio se dará marcha atrás en el proceso, algo que hasta ahora no ocurrió.
La primera fase de reactivación comenzó para la mayoría del estado a partir del pasado 4 de mayo y permitió la apertura de negocios no esenciales como restaurantes, tiendas minoristas, museos, gimnasios y bibliotecas, pero con una capacidad reducida y una mayor higiene y medidas de distanciamiento.
La fase dos agregó bares y eventos grandes como los cines y lugares de baile que abrirán a la mitad de su capacidad en 64 condados, mientras que los Gobiernos de Miami-Dade, Palm Beach y Broward necesitarán aprobación para hacerlo.
