Cometa ‘Diablo’, tres veces más grande que el Everest, se dirige a la Tierra
El cometa ‘Diablo’, que ha tenido fuertes explosiones en los últimos meses, se dirige a la Tierra, pero ¿Qué tan peligroso es esto para nuestros planeta?
La revista científica Live Science informó que se acerca a la Tierra el llamado cometa “Diablo”, que es tres veces más grande que el Everest, la montaña más grande del mundo, tras haber presentado una serie de explosiones.
De acuerdo con los expertos, el meteorito ha presentado varias erupciones criovolcánicas, que le han dado la forma de tener un par de cuernos, de ahí que los científicos lo bautizaran como el “Diablo” y que así lo dieran a conocer.
Los rayos del Sol calientan al cometa, lo que provoca que la presión de su núcleo aumente causando violentas explosiones, y algunas partes quedan en el espacio.
¿El cometa “Diablo” representa algún peligro para la Tierra?
Según los pronósticos, será el 21 de abril de 2024 cuando se acerque a la Tierra y pueda ser visto a simple vista antes de que salga de nuestro sistema solar, ya que no se volverá a ver hasta 2095.
El cometa no representa ningún riesgo para el planeta, ya que solo pasará cerca de él sin tener ningún tipo de contacto.
