China utiliza medicamento creado en Cuba para curar coronavirus
El medicamento ha logrado curar a más de 1500 pacientes y es uno de los 30 medicamentos que han sido escogidos por la comisión nacional de la salud China para curar el coronavirus.
El presidente de Cuba, ha destacado el uso del gobierno chino para luchar contra el coronavirus con la ayuda del medicamento “interferón alfa 2B”(IFNrec) en el tratamiento contra la enfermedad.
El presidente de Cuba compartió en Twitter feliz de que se usara el medicamento cubano que lo elaboran desde el 25 de enero en una planta china-cubana ChangHeber, que se ubica en la localidad de Changchun, provincia China de Jilin.
“Nuestros apoyo al gobierno y pueblo chino en sus esfuerzos por combatir el coronavirus”.
El medicamento se usa contra infecciones causadas por el VIH, la papilomatosis respiratoria recurrente causada por el virus papiloma humano, el condiloma acuminado y la hepatitis tipos B y C, además es efectivo contra distintos tipos de cáncer.
Guo Yanhong, funcionaria sanitaria china, indicó que más de 500 casos están curados tras estar internados unos 10 días, incluidos aquellos con síntomas leves y graves.
Expertos destacaron que métodos de tratamiento antivírico, que incluyen apoyo sintomático, especialmente de la medicina tradicional china, han producido buenos efectos.
Mientras, investigadores de la Universidad de Agricultura del Sur de China identificaron al pangolín como posible “huésped intermedio”, que no se enferma, que facilitó la transmisión del virus al humano.
Otros científicos apuntan al murciélago como principal transmisor.
La enfermedad también se contagia entre personas.
Un nuevo reporte indica que la diarrea puede ser vía secundaria de transmisión del nuevo coronavirus luego de que se reportaron pacientes con síntomas abdominales y heces blandas. Se cree que la vía principal de contagio son las gotas de saliva cargadas de virus en la tos de un infectado.
