Atrapan gigantesca serpiente pitón que se comió una cabra en Malasia
La serpiente pitón mide 7 metros y pesa 140 kilos. Las autoridades tardaron más de 20 minutos en atrapar al reptil, que se tragó a una cabra entera en el estado de Kedah, Malasia.
Los servicios de emergencia atraparon este viernes una serpiente pitón de 7 metros de largo y 140 kilos que había ingerido una cabra entera en una granja en el estado de Kedah, en el norte de Malasia.
La Fuerza de Defensa Civil de Malasia explicó que aprovechó que la serpiente pitón estaba inmóvil haciendo la digestión para agarrarla. Sucedió en la aldea de Guar Batu Hitam.
Un país tropical, Malasia alberga unas 160 especies de serpientes, incluida la pitón reticulada (Malayphython reticulatus), que es considerada la más larga del mundo, aunque la que alcanza más peso sería la anaconda, en el Caribe y Suramérica.
En 2016, los servicios de emergencia malasios atraparon una serpiente pitón reticulada de unos 8 metros de largo, considerándose entonces la mayor del mundo, aunque murió a los tres días.
