Una mujer amenazó al personal de un supermercado lamiendo las ventanas al grito de que tenía coronavirus.
Amanda Welch, de 45 años, estaba en un supermercado Tesco de Liverpool, Inglaterra, cuando personal de seguridad habría alertado que la mujer estaba robando.
Las imágenes del circuito cerrado de video del local capturaron su comportamiento después de que ella entró a la tienda con Thomas Wallace, de 50 años, informa el sitio Liverpool Echo.
En las filmaciones de video, se observa «ciertamente un punto agudo. Estaba con un colega en ese momento; como resultado, ambos volvieron a la tienda y cerraron la puerta».
«La acusada pateó la puerta y lamió y escupió en las ventanas, explicando que tenía coronavirus y que quería dárselo al personal». A pesar de asegurar que estaba enferma de coronavirus, los trabajadores que se hicieron la prueba resultaron ser negativos.
La mujer escapó, pero la policía la arrestó en Smithfield Street, después de que ella intentó escapar. Cuando le preguntaron si tenía algo, sacó un destornillador, pero negó tener agujas y le preguntó si podía fumar un cigarrillo en el bolsillo.
Su abogada explicó, como parte de la defensa en el juicio, que Welch consumía drogas y que había aumentado su abuso debido a su situación personal, ya que no podía ver a sus dos hijos por su conducta.
Según informes policiales, Welch tiene 32 condenas anteriores por 121 delitos, que datan de 1990, incluidos asaltos y desorden público.
