Abuelita fue asesinada por su hija: la lanzó por las escaleras, al parecer, por cobrarle alquiler
Además de ser empujada, la abuelita fue golpeada en múltiples ocasiones con una lata de salsa sin abrir, según el reporte oficial de las autoridades.
Una abuelita en Minnesota, Estados Unidos , fue asesinada por su propia hija, que la empujó por las escaleras tras una discusión por dinero, según las autoridades. El cuerpo de la mujer de 78 años, madre de tres hijos, fue encontrado días después del incidente.
Los hechos se presentaron el 27 de junio de 2023, cuando la víctima, identificada como Sheila Wobbeking, se dirigió a la casa de su hija Nicole para cobrarle el alquiler por vivir en su propiedad. Sin embargo, en lugar de pagarle, la mujer supuestamente golpeó a su madre y luego la empujó por las escaleras, causándole heridas de gravedad.
Tras el ataque, Sheila alcanzó a comunicarse con las autoridades y les dijo a los oficiales de policía que tenía dolor en las costillas y un tobillo roto. Dos días después del incidente, Nicole Wobbeking fue arrestada con cargos de agresión por delitos graves y delitos menores, relacionados con el maltrato a su madre.
Poco después, el 5 de julio, la policía recibió un llamado de la abuelita, relacionado con una “emergencia médica”, así que los oficiales se dirigieron a su casa, ubicada en Plymouth, donde fue encontrada muerta.
De acuerdo con la autopsia realizada por el especialista, la causa de la muerte de Sheila fue una tromboembolismo pulmonar, ocasionado por un hueso que fue roto durante el ataque en su contra.
La víctima es recordada como una “alma hermosa” y una abuelita cariñosa. Acorde con su obituario, tenía tres hijos, siete nietos y dos bisnietos.
“Shelly era un alma hermosa que siempre será recordada por su ingenio seco, amor incondicional y apoyo inquebrantable a su familia y amigos. Era tan generosa con los demás, incluso con aquellos que no conocía, ya que era una voluntaria activa para su comunidad e iglesia”, decía el escrito.
