María Teresa Aya, analista internacional de Noticias Caracol, destaca que Nasrallah, quien lideró Hezbolá durante 32 años, fue fundamental en la formación y fortalecimiento del grupo con el respaldo de Irán. Esta relación lo convirtió en una fuerza militar poderosa en el contexto del Medio Oriente. «Ahora Hezbolá se encuentra sin un líder, en una situación de vacío de poder. La gran incógnita es quién tomará las decisiones y cómo responderán a esta crisis», señala Aya. Además, advierte que podría haber represalias desorganizadas de Hezbolá contra Israel, lo que complica aún más la situación.

La situación también plantea interrogantes sobre el futuro de Irán, que ha considerado a Hezbolá como su grupo terrorista preferido. Según Aya, «Irán debe ahora trabajar para mantener la confianza de sus aliados y de los grupos bajo su influencia. Esto podría llevar a Teherán a organizar ataques en respuesta a la muerte de Nasrallah, lo que tendría repercusiones catastróficas no solo para la región, sino para el mundo entero».
Con la desaparición de uno de los líderes más influyentes del Medio Oriente, la inestabilidad en la región parece inminente, y las repercusiones de estos eventos podrían sentirse por mucho más tiempo.
