Nace un bebé «milagro» en Gaza tras el ataque aéreo que mató a su madre aún embarazada
Un ataque aéreo israelí se estrelló contra la casa familiar en al-Nuseirat, en el centro de Gaza, el 19 de julio provocándole la muerte a la madre del bebé.

Embarazada de nueve meses, Ola al-Kurd soñaba con el momento de tener a su bebé en brazos y traer una nueva vida a Gaza, una región devastada por un conflicto que ha cobrado la vida de más de 39,000 palestinos y ha destruido gran parte del enclave.
Un Momento Robado por la Guerra
El 19 de julio, un ataque aéreo israelí impactó la casa familiar de Ola en al-Nuseirat, en el centro de Gaza, según relató su padre, Adnan al-Kurd. La explosión la lanzó varios pisos abajo, causándole la muerte junto a otros residentes, incluidos mujeres, niños y ancianos.
Un Milagro en Medio del Horror
Milagrosamente, el bebé de Ola sobrevivió, al igual que su marido, quien fue hospitalizado. «Es increíble que el feto siguiera vivo dentro de ella cuando murió», comentó Adnan al-Kurd mientras miraba una foto de graduación de su hija.
Una Tragedia Repetida
Esta explosión es solo un ejemplo más de las muchas tragedias familiares en Gaza desde que Israel inició su ofensiva en respuesta a un ataque de milicianos palestinos de Hamás el 7 de octubre del año pasado. Los intentos de mediadores de Estados Unidos, Qatar y Egipto para establecer un alto el fuego han fracasado, y los bombardeos continúan sin tregua.
El Milagro de Malek Yassin
Contra todo pronóstico, los cirujanos del hospital al-Awda de Nuseirat lograron traer al mundo al recién nacido, Malek Yassin. El bebé fue trasladado al hospital al-Aqsa en Deir al-Balah, donde su tía acarició su rostro mientras yacía en una incubadora. «Gracias a Dios, se salvó la vida de este bebé, que ahora está sano y salvo», declaró el doctor Jalil al-Dakran, pese a las dificultades que enfrenta el sistema de salud en Gaza.
