La Compañía de Turismo de Puerto Rico (CTPR) ha unido fuerzas con el famoso reguetonero Daddy Yankee para presentar su nueva campaña promocional llamada ‘Verano Infinito’. Esta iniciativa, parte de la marca ‘Voy Turisteando’, está diseñada para incentivar el turismo interno en la isla caribeña.
Carlos Mercado, director ejecutivo de la CTPR, expresó su confianza en la colaboración con el reconocido artista: «Con el gran artista Daddy Yankee estamos seguros que seguiremos fortaleciendo la lealtad y conexión emocional de todos los residentes por vacacionar en su isla».
En el centro de esta campaña se encuentra la aplicación ‘Voy Turisteando’, que facilita la planificación de vacaciones y recorridos turísticos dentro de Puerto Rico. Esta herramienta incluye características de realidad aumentada, entre ellas una serie titulada ‘Los Spots de DY’, que destacan los lugares y actividades preferidas de Daddy Yankee en la isla.
Mercado añadió: «Hacemos un llamado al público local a que explore las múltiples alternativas que ofrece la Isla para planificar unas vacaciones memorables sin tener que viajar al exterior».
La campaña ‘Verano Infinito’ también incluye una serie de videos promocionales que presentan la isla con canciones como ‘Bonita’ de Daddy Yankee. Además, se promueve el uso del hashtag #YoTuristeoDondeVivo, invitando a los puertorriqueños a compartir sus experiencias y mostrar la belleza de la Isla del Encanto.
Mercado concluyó destacando los objetivos de la campaña: «Diseñada específicamente para que el turista local pueda conseguir información actualizada acerca de a dónde ir, qué hacer, y cómo llegar, junto a familiares y amistades, a lugares de interés en Porta Cordillera, Porta del Sol, Porta Caribe, Porta Atlántico y las regiones este y metro de la isla».
Daddy Yankee, cuyo nombre real es Raymond Ayala, alcanzó el estrellato internacional en 2004 con su éxito ‘Gasolina’. En marzo de 2022, lanzó su último álbum ‘Legendaddy’, que superó las 600 millones de reproducciones en menos de un mes y contó con colaboraciones de grandes artistas como Bad Bunny, Rauw Alejandro, Pitbull, Natti Natasha y Becky G.
En diciembre, Daddy Yankee finalizó su carrera artística con su quinto concierto ‘La Meta’ en Puerto Rico, anunciando un nuevo capítulo en su vida dedicado a seguir el camino de Cristo, uniéndose a otros artistas urbanos como Héctor ‘El Father’, Farruko y Voltio en esta decisión.
Con ‘Verano Infinito’, Daddy Yankee no solo se despide de la música, sino que también contribuye a fomentar el turismo y el amor por Puerto Rico, invitando a sus compatriotas a redescubrir la riqueza y diversidad de su tierra natal
