Teletón Costa Rica 2021 no alcanzó la meta de ₡550 millones
Por segundo año consecutivo la maratón solidaria no logró el objetivo de recaudar ₡550 millones y cerró con la suma de ₡411 millones.
La madrugada de este domingo cerró la edición número 37 de la Teletón, este 2021 se buscaba recaudar fondos para dotar al Hospital Nacional de Niños de una bomba extracorpórea y también ayudar al Banco Nacional de Sangre.
Lamentablemente, la maratón solidaria no logró alcanzar la meta de recaudar ₡550, 000, 000 millones y cerró con la suma de ₡411, 480,000 millones.
Sin duda, la crisis económica que vive el país por la pandemia de la covid-19 se vio reflejada en la recaudación de la Teletón 2021.
Este año, la maratón solidaria se llevó a cabo en el Auditorio Nacional del Museo de los Niños en una edición virtual y a puerta cerrada debido a la pandemia.
“Gracias, gracias y gracias Costa Rica por decir presente y hacer que lo imposible se vuelva posible, por construir sueños y llenar de esperanza a toda una nación”, indicó Teletón por medio de sus redes sociales.
Por segundo año consecutivo Teletón no logró alcanzar la meta. El año anterior el objetivo era recaudar ₡ 550 millones para ayudar al Banco Nacional de Sangre y al Hospital Nacional de Geriatría y Gerontología, pero el evento cerró con la suma de ₡271, 426,675 millones.
