Lisbeth Valverde alza la voz y aclara polémico video: “Se malinterpretó lo que yo dije”
La representante de la belleza costarricense realizó un live tras ser eliminada de Miss Universo que causó controversia.
A un mes de la final de Miss Universo, Lisbeth Valverde, la representante de la belleza costarricense en el certamen, decidió abordar la controversia que surgió tras una transmisión que realizó en directo a través de su cuenta de Instagram después de no clasificar en el Top 20 del concurso.
La tica dijo una frase que fue noticia tanto en medios nacionales e internacionales: “Hay muchas cosas que pasan detrás que algún día hablaré”.
En entrevista con Teletica.com, la docente en Educación Especial confesó que en ese momento estaba “muy triste” al percatarse de que todo el esfuerzo que dedicó durante meses no generó los resultados esperados.
“Cuando yo hice el live, estaba en shock, estaba muy triste porque no me llamaron al Top 20. Creo que muchas personas han malinterpretado lo que yo dije. Incluso, han pensado que yo no estaba de acuerdo en que ganara Sheynnis, cuando es totalmente contrario, incluso hay videos míos preguntando del top y yo la mencioné a ella y a Miss Tailandia también”, reconoció Valverde.
“Incluso, la misma Sheynnis ha dicho que yo la he apoyado y le tomé la mano cuando ganó y le decía que se lo merecía. Así fue y se malinterpretó mucho lo que yo dije. Obviamente, cuando lo dije, estaba triste y conmocionada, pero creo es muy normal. Siempre van a pasar cosas que desde mi percepción voy a vivir, cada quien vive el concurso a su modo”, agregó.
Una vez más, Lisbeth, no detalló cuáles son las cosas que pasan tras bambalinas, pero manifestó estar contenta por el triunfo de la nicaragüense, Sheynnis Palacios.
