La influencer trans es ahora una celebridad del internet, pero tuvo una infancia marcada por el rechazo y un abuso sexual.
Wendy Guevara, ganadora de ‘La Casa de los Famosos México’, ahora es unos millones de dólares mucho más rica de lo que era hace no muchos años antes de convertirse en una persona trangénero y de volverse famosa en las redes sociales.
La ganadora del reality show de Televisa adquirió fama en 2017 luego de que se viralizó en redes un video suyo junto a su amiga Paola Suárez en el que piden ayuda porque están supuestamente perdidas en un cerro.
En algunos de sus videos y transmisiones en vivo en redes sociales, además de varias entrevistas, Wendy Guevara ha revelado detalles sobre su vida antes de ingresar a ‘La Casa de los Famosos México’ y de popularizarse con el video de ‘Las Perdidas’.
Su nombre verdadero es Luis Carmen Guevara Venegas, tiene 29 años y es originaria de una familia humilde de León, Guanajuato. La influencer no tuvo una vida tranquila en su infancia y adolescencia.
Abandonó sus estudios básicos cuando cursaba el primer grado de secundaria porque le hacían bullying por ser gay. También enfrentó problemas con sus padres por sus adicciones y porque no la aceptaban como persona trans.
En algún tiempo antes de ser famosa, Wendy Guevara tuvo varios oficios; trabajó vendiendo papel higiénico en un baño público y ejerció la prostitución, por lo que tuvo muy malas experiencias en ambos.
También trabajó en el negocio de su familia de venta de bolsos y zapatos que ellos mismos manufacturaban en León, Guanajuato.
Los negocios de Wendy Guevara antes de ganar ‘La Casa de los Famosos’
Wendy y su amiga Paolita aprovecharon su fama como ‘Las Perdidas’ para emprender dos negocios: uno de comida y aguas frescas y otra de agencia de viajes.
En su negocio de comida, ubicado en la colonia Coecillo, en León, Guanajuato, servían las bebidas en vasos de unicel con sus caras y la cortina de su local también tenías sus imágenes.
Mientras que su agencia ofrecía viajes nacionales e internacionales y tours a playas mexicanas como Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa, Mazatlán y Acapulco, además de organizar bodas y XV años.
Sin embargo, ambos negocios ya no continúan en funcionamiento ya que ni Wendy ni Paolita contaban con el suficiente tiempo para atenderlos y decidieron cerrarlos.
Por eso, Wendy ha asegurado tras ganar el millonario premio en ‘La Casa de los Famosos’ que quiere comprar una propiedad y vivir de la renta, terminar de pagar la casa de sus padres y que ya no sigan trabajando.
