(Video) ¡Qué tramposos! Agarran a tres ciclistas siendo remolcados por un vehículo en plena competición
Los ciclistas quedaron descalificados de la Vuelta Costa Rica.
Tal parece que tres ciclistas que participaban en la Vuelta de Costa Rica, quisieron pasarse de listos y fueron captados mientras eran remolcados por un vehículo en plena competencia.
Como era de esperarse, estos quedaron descalificados tras cometer dicha acción, la cual en apariencia se dio este miércoles 21 de diciembre, durante la etapa seis, en uno de los trayectos de los 120 kilómetros entre La Unión, de Cartago, hasta Pérez Zeledón.
Los tres ciclistas vinculados y descalificados fueron identificados como Kevin Meza, Miguel Aragón y Gabriel Brenes, quienes forman parte del equipo “Carithos Cycling”.
“De parte de la organización acogemos la decisión de los comisarios de expulsar a los corredores 32, 33 y 35 del equipo Carithos, porque tenemos pruebas de que fueron remolcados en la etapa del día de ayer”, expresó Óscar Herrero, director de competencia.
Por su parte el equipo Carithos Cycling, se pronunció al respecto por medio de un comunicado de prensa, donde ofrecieron disculpas por lo sucedido.
“Reprochamos las acciones ocurridas pues van en contra de los principios de nuestro equipo y aceptamos la sanción aplicada por el cuerpo de comisarios de la competencia”, se lee en el comunicado enviado por el equipo.
