“Vamos a luchar hasta el final por el liderato”: Andrés Carevic
El estratega de Alajuelense asegura que el conjunto no mereció la derrota el sábado anterior en el clásico nacional.
El director técnico de Liga Deportiva Alajuelense (LDA), Andrés Carevic, se muestra firme y decidido a mantener a su equipo en la lucha por el liderato a pesar de la reciente derrota en el clásico nacional.
El sábado pasado, el conjunto manudo cayó por 1-0 ante el Deportivo Saprissa.
En entrevista con Diario Extra, Carevic, no dudó en expresar su desacuerdo con el resultado y enfatizó que su equipo no mereció la derrota. El estratega argentino resaltó el esfuerzo y la dedicación de sus jugadores a lo largo del encuentro, subrayando que la diferencia en el marcador no reflejaba la actuación en el campo.
“Jugamos de igual a igual, no merecíamos la derrota. Felicito a los jugadores por el gran esfuerzo que hicieron. Vamos a luchar hasta el final. Estamos compitiendo en tres frentes, estamos haciendo un gran esfuerzo. Seguiremos trabajando duro y evaluando quién está en mejor forma. Si las matemáticas lo permiten, lucharemos, de lo contrario, seguiremos buscando alternativas”, comentó.
Sobre la ausencia de Aarón Suárez manifestó: “No hablaré sobre la parte individual, sino del equipo en conjunto. Tenemos a Aarón Suárez, Guillermo Villalobos, Leo Menjivar y había que tomar decisiones. Se tomaron esas decisiones para completar los 18 jugadores y listo”.
Por último, el estratega se refirió a la expulsión de Alexis Gamboa.
“No estoy de acuerdo con la decisión tomada, pero así es el fútbol. A partir de ahora tenemos jugadores que pueden ocupar esa posición y jugará el que esté en mejor forma”, finalizó.
