Tras dos años de haber salido de Grecia, el Tuma finalmente reveló cual fue el motivo de su despido
Gilberto Martínez rompió el silencio y dejó en evidencia una situación bastante polémica.
Como muchas veces dicen, “si en el fútbol no hay polémica, no es fútbol” y esto quedó demostrado una vez más este lunes, luego de que el exfutbolista y ahora técnico Gilberto el “Tuma” Martínez, revelará el verdadero motivo de su despido como dirigente del Municipal Grecia.
Si bien es cierto eso sucedió hace dos años, no fue hasta este 13 de marzo, que el técnico rompió el silencio y contó su versión de los hechos.
Pues este lunes, se destapó la polémica, ya que en el programa Cracks, de TD Más, en el que el Tuma es uno de sus panelistas, salió a relucir lo sucedido en aquel momento, donde evidenció un episodio polémico del equipo de Grecia.
“En el caso mío cuando estuve en Grecia mandaban más los jugadores que la junta directiva, o la misma presidente como le decían (a la gerente Peggy Guillén). A mí me echan porque en el último partido que estuve dirigiendo Giancarlo Sánchez, el Tata, amenazó pegarme y casi que de muerte.
“Todo pasó adentro de la cancha, cuando íbamos saliendo y cuando íbamos para el camerino, fue algo vergonzoso, la verdad, se hizo el reporte a la señora Peggy”, comentó el exfutbolista.
Al técnico le preguntaron si a raíz del problema lo retaron a pelear y contento que sí.
“A todo, si lo tenían agarrado como entre cuatro, de hecho recuerdo que (Óscar Esteban) Granados llegó y me dijo, ‘esto es una falta de respeto enorme’ A él no le importó nada, quería pegarme delante de Unafut, de Heredia, la dirigencia de Grecia, terrible”, añadió el Tuma.
Sin embargo, tal parece que en el club griego tuvo más fuerza el futbolista que el propio entrenador.
“Al final les fue más fácil decirle al entrenador váyase, que no sancionar al jugador y así con todo el resto, de los que no entrenaban bien, algo que lamentablemente pasa”, expresó Martínez.
