Ramón Luis Méndez: “El arbitraje en general ha perdido el respeto”
El exárbitro considera que la Comisión de Arbitraje debe ser destituida.
Fiel a su estilo el exsilbatero y actual analista arbitral, Ramón Luis Méndez, se refirió a la actuación que tuvo el árbitro Pedro Navarro en el encuentro del miércoles anterior en el que el Club Sport Herediano (CSH) venció 4-1 al Deportivo Saprissa. Y de paso arremetió contra la Comisión de Arbitraje.
En entrevista con diario La Teja, Méndez, catalogó de “desastrosa” la situación actual del arbitraje. Además, manifestó que Navarro no debió ser asignado para dicho encuentro a raíz de la polémica que se generó por el tema de los chats ya que el silbatero era uno de los implicados.
El analista indicó que para mejorar el arbitraje en el país se deben tomar medidas extremas.
“El arbitraje en general ha perdido el respeto. La Comisión de arbitraje debe ser destituida, pero eso no va a pasar porque a nadie le importa el arbitraje, el problema es grotesco, ellos hacen lo que quieren” dijo.
Las expulsiones
“El responsable directo de este tipo de desastres es el árbitro, la bronca entre Kendall Waston y John Jairo Ruiz no se soluciona con una siempre amarilla y la entrada de Javon no era para roja, iba por el balón y no puedo desaparecer el pie, a lo mucho era una falta por juego peligroso”, comentó.
Sobre las expulsiones de Fidel Escobar y Aarón Salazar, el exárbitro indicó que fueron correctas, contrario de la no doble tarjeta amarilla a Gerson Torres, quién siguió jugando tras sujetar de la camiseta a un rival cuando ya había sido amonestado.
