¡Orgullo Nacional! Noelia Vargas logró dejarse la medalla de bronce en el Abierto Internacional de Irlanda 2022
La atleta nacional alcanzó su primera medalla en eventos de categoría mayor.
Costa Rica tiene nueva medalla de categoría internacional, esto gracias a la atleta puriscaleña Noelia Vargas, quien este domingo 18 de diciembre, logró dejarse el bronce en el Abierto Internacional de Irlanda 2022.
Dicha noticia fue informada por el Comité Olímpico de Costa Rica, quienes destacaron que, gracias a su esfuerzo, la nacional logró sumar importantes puntos para el ranking mundial.
Asimismo, indicaron que esta es la primera medalla en eventos senior (categoría mayor) para Vargas.
“Noelia Vargas Mena ganó este domingo la medalla de bronce en el Abierto Internacional de Irlanda 2022, así lo confirmó su entrenadora doña Dixiana Mena, quién comentó que el clima fue complicado debido al viento y las bajas temperaturas.

La marchista puriscaleña alcanzó el tercer lugar, tras completar su competición en un tiempo de 1 horas con 38 minutos y 34 segundos.
