Minor Díaz cumple su promesa y entrega la medalla de campeón a su padre
El padre del estratega, de 75 años, se encuentra hospitalizado desde hace varios días.
La noche del sábado anterior, Minor Díaz celebró su segundo ascenso en el fútbol de Costa Rica como director técnico.
Díaz llevó al Municipal Liberia de nuevo a la Primera División al dejar en el camino a Escorpiones de Belén.
“Hay tantos sentimientos encontrados. Quiero aprovechar porque mi papá está internado y le prometí la medalla. Le prometí que se la iba a llevar al hospital y Dios me dio esta bendición y no tengo cómo agradecerle. Le quiero dedicar también este triunfo a mi familia en Acoyapa de Nicoya, a la gente de Mansión de Nandayure, a mi esposa, a mis hijas”, recordó el estratega entre lágrimas en la transmisión de TD+.
Pues el timonel, de 42 años, cumplió su promesa y este lunes le llevó a don Franklin Díaz la medalla de campeón de la Liga de Ascenso.
