Mensajes de odio contra Johan Venegas podrían ser denunciados ante la FIFA
En los últimos encuentros de la Tricolor el jugador a sido atacado con mensajes que van más allá del fútbol.
Según se dio a conocer la FIFA y FIFPRO (organización mundial que representa a los futbolistas profesionales), están trabajando en poner en marcha un servicio de protección en redes sociales para este Mundial de Qatar 2022, con el fin de combatir la discriminación y proteger el bienestar y la salud mental de los jugadores.
Dicho servicio aplica para todas las selecciones del mundo que se encuentran participando en la cita mundialista, las cuales tendrán un acceso específico de control, denuncia y moderación, el cual está diseñado para minimizar la visibilidad de los términos de incitación al odio destinados a los ellos en las redes sociales.
Cabe destacar que no solo buscan proteger al jugador, ya que también tiene como fin hacerlo con los aficionados, esto con los insultos expresados en internet durante el Mundial.
“La FIFA se compromete a ofrecer las mejores condiciones posibles a los jugadores para que rindan a su máximo nivel. En la Copa Mundial de la FIFA nos complace poder lanzar un servicio que ayudará a proteger a los jugadores de los efectos dañinos que las publicaciones en redes sociales pueden tener para su salud mental y su bienestar”, expresó el presidente de la FIFA, Gianni Infantino.
Y es que esto trae a relucir la situación tan acongojante que vivió Johan Venegas en el partido de la Sele contra Nigeria, donde los insultos no solo fueron en el estadio, ya que recibió ataques que iban más allá del fútbol por medio de las redes sociales.
“El fútbol tiene la responsabilidad de proteger a los jugadores y a otros grupos afectados frente a los insultos que reciben cada vez con más frecuencia en su lugar de trabajo y en torno a él. Este tipo de insultos tiene profundas repercusiones para su personalidad, sus familias y su rendimiento, así como para su salud mental y bienestar general”, dijo por su parte el presidente de FIFPRO, David Aganzo.
Por lo que en apariencia la FIFA Y FIFPRO, durante Qatar 2022, supervisaran las redes sociales de los participantes, para así detectar cualquier tipo de mensaje o comentario que ellos consideren inapropiados, para así denunciarlos ante la red social correspondiente y las autoridades legales para tomar medidas ante dichas situaciones.
“Esperamos que el servicio de protección en redes sociales constituya un punto de partida para ayudar a defender a los participantes de los mensajes ofensivos, y que las empresas de redes sociales se unan a nosotros y nos ayuden a combatir el problema en la Copa Mundial de la FIFA”, indicó la FIFA.
