Melissa Herrera le contesta a Medford: “No es un tema de mujeres u hombres”
Hace unos días la futbolista aseguró que la Tricolor estaba en el Mundial representando a las mujeres de Costa Rica, comentario que molestó al entrenador.
Previo al compromiso contra Japón en la Copa Mundial Femenina de la FIFA Australia/Nueva Zelanda 2023 la futbolista Melissa Herrera aseguró que la Tricolor estaba en la competición representando a las mujeres de Costa Rica.
El comentario de Melissa enfureció al director técnico y comentarista deportivo, Hernán Medford, quien en el programa Tercer Tiempo de canal 38 ¡OPA! le tiró con todo.
Medford utilizó como ejemplo a la Selección Masculina.
“Es como que mañana salga Joel Campbell y diga ‘es que yo andaba representando a los hombres’ no, no, por favor, Melissa”, agregó.
“Quiero aprovechar porque anteriormente dije que estábamos representando a las mujeres de Costa Rica, pero me refería a las jugadoras, obviamente yo tengo un padre, cuñados, primos y tíos que cada vez que me pongo la camisa los represento a ellos, no es un tema de mujeres u hombres”, comentó Herrera.
“Dije que representaba a las mujeres de Costa Rica, me quería referir a las jugadoras que tienen sueños de jugar en una Copa Mundial, no solamente a que solo representamos a las mujeres”, finalizó.
