Medio pinolero titula: “Yokasta Valle, la nicaragüense que representa a Costa Rica” y desata críticas
Y llegó el día de la esperada pelea entre la boxeadora costarricense Yokasta Valle y la mexicana-estadounidense Seniesa Estrada. Este viernes estarán en disputa los 4 títulos mundiales en la división de las 105 libras (AMB, OMB, CMB y FIB).
A propósito del combate Valle ha captado la atención de medios tanto nacionales como internacionales. En Nicaragua, siguen de cerca la pelea por una razón especial.
Es bien conocido que Yoka nació en Matagalpa. A pesar de poseer la nacionalidad costarricense y representarnos con gran orgullo en todas las competiciones, en el país vecino siempre hacen hincapié en que ella nació en Nicaragua, guste a quien guste.
Por eso, este 29 de marzo el medio nicaragüense La Prensa le dedicó una nota a la pugilista titulada “Yokasta Valle, la nicaragüense que representa a Costa Rica se juega cuatro títulos esta noche”.
“A Valle la fanaticada costarricense la acogió con los brazos abiertos, sin importar sus orígenes. Bastó que tuviera el coraje de subirse al ring y representara a ese país para recibir el respaldo de su público”, dice parte de la noticia.
La publicación generó reacciones en redes sociales: “La verdad no se puede ocultar, es nicaragüense, claro es para nosotros los costarricenses un orgullo que ella haya querido representarnos, imagino que es parte de su agradecimiento con esta tierra”, escribió Ignacio Álvarez.
“No se roben descaradamente el esfuerzo y recursos de Costa Rica y costarricenses en formar a esta muchacha en Costa Rica la cual indica ser muy tica. Ser agradecidos es de bien nacidos”, manifestó Harry Quesada.
“¡Y es verdad…aunque duela. La señora es nicaragüense, uno más de los que habitan en Costa Rica!”, indicó Susana Scr.
Raquel Espinoza expresó: “Aquí no solo encontraron trabajo sus padres, oportunidades, patrocinadores que nunca encontrarían en Nicaragua y su elección fue ser tica y representar a Costa Rica, yo tengo 2 sobrinas que nacieron en Nicaragua nada más y aquí crecieron y tienen nacionalidad tica, nadie las escucha decir nací en Nicaragua porque no sienten nada por ese país”.
“No hay nada de malo en eso. Dejen el nacionalismo y la xenofobia de lado. Yokasta es Yokasta y dónde naciera y a quien represente es segundo plano”, indicó Enrique Briceño.
“Ella es tica… Así lo dice su cédula y sus deseos”, escribió Eliomar Vargas.
La pelea de Yoka
El combate se realizará en el Desert Diamond Arena de Glendale, Arizona, y dará inicio a las 9:00 p.m. hora de Costa Rica.
