Jafet Soto asegura que si en el país existiera el VAR, el CSH tendría por lo menos cuatro títulos más
Soto reveló que en la Fedefútbol están haciendo lo posible para traer el VAR a Costa Rica.
Sin duda que la implementación del VAR en el fútbol de Costa Rica, sería un gran avance deportivo para la región, ya que según se dio a conocer en los últimos días, de Centroamérica, la Liga Nacional de Guatemala contará con VAR en sus estadios a partir de este año, lo cual ha causado mucho revuelo en la zona.
A pesar de que en Costa Rica no se habla mucho del tema, tal parece que, en la Fedefútbol, tienen la idea de implementar el VAR en fútbol nacional muy presente, según lo reveló el gerente general del Herediano, Jafet Soto Molina.
Asimismo, Soto, quien se caracteriza por ser bastante polémico, habló con la prensa deportiva y aseguró que, si en Costa Rica existiera VAR desde hace varios años, el Club Sport Herediano (CSH) tendría más de 29 títulos nacionales.
“La Federación ha estado haciendo un gran esfuerzo para ver cómo se trae el VAR a Costa Rica y creo que es algo muy bueno, lo vimos en el Mundial de Catar, algo que benefició hasta cierto punto en muchos partidos, pero no es barato. Si algo que Costa Rica debe ir profesionalizándose desde ahora. Mucho podría mejorar el fútbol, si aquí hubiese VAR hace años tendríamos por lo menos cuatro títulos más”, expresó Jafet Soto.
Sin duda que la implementación del VAR en Guatemala es una motivación para el resto de la región y un impulso para que busque mejorar el deporte en cuanto a nivel y profesionalismo.
