Gimnasta olímpica Luciana Alvarado renuncia a la selección nacional
Gracias a Alvarado Costa Rica tuvo, por primera vez en la historia, participación en Gimnasia Artística en unos Juegos Olímpicos.
La primera gimnasta olímpica en la historia de Costa Rica, Luciana Alvarado Reid, anunció este jueves su renuncia oficial a las selecciones nacionales.
Gracias a Alvarado Costa Rica tuvo, por primera vez en la historia, participación en Gimnasia Artística en unos Juegos Olímpicos. La atleta deslumbró con su participación en Tokyo 2020.
“Una vez que he analizado mis prioridades actuales y lo que actualmente requiere mi cuerpo y mi salud emocional, para poder mantener los altos estándares que me exige la NCAA, he tomado la decisión de no continuar con ningún proceso relacionado a selección nacional”, declaró la joven.
La gimnasta agradeció el apoyo del país y del Comité Olímpico Nacional.
La joven finalizará sus estudios universitarios en mayo del 2026.
