David Guzmán sobre la final: “Estamos los dos mejores equipos del torneo”
El volante no se quedó con las ganas y le respondió a Jafet Soto.
Corría el minuto 75 del encuentro entre el Deportivo Saprissa y el Club Sport Herediano cuando el volante morado David Guzmán abandonó el terreno de juego para darle campo a Mariano Torres.
Cuando salía de la cancha, Guzmán miró hacia el banquillo del Team donde estaba Jafet Soto, al llegar a la línea de banda, de acuerdo con la transmisión de FUTV, señaló el escudo de Saprissa de su uniforme y le dijo a Soto: “Esto es Saprissa”.
Al finalizar el encuentro, Guzmán agradeció el apoyo de la afición y destacó las cualidades del Saprissa que lo llevaron a la final.
“Primero, darle gracias a la afición que estuvo presente; fue importantísimo que pudimos sacar la serie, estamos en nuestra casa y, gracias a Dios, hicimos un excelente juego. ¿Qué fue lo que hicimos? Luchar, intentar ir a una final más y eso fue lo que se logró”, dijo.
El volante externó su deseo de que la afición los siga apoyando.
“Es importante, no hay nada más bonito que jugar siempre a estadio lleno, vivir el ambiente que tuvimos hoy, ellos responden y nosotros tenemos que contestar con goles y lo estamos haciendo bien”, finalizó.
