La expulsión de Marvin Angulo ante Grecia sigue dando de que hablar, y en esta ocasión el caso tiene un nuevo capítulo luego de que el árbitro Josué Ugalde tomó una nueva decisión y amplió su informe arbitral, esto tras analizar el video de lo ocurrido a los ocho minutos de partido.
Según detalló la Federación Costarricense de Fútbol (Fedefútbol) en un comunicado de prensa, Ugalde estudió en conjunto con el presidente de la Comisión de Arbitraje, Horacio Elizondo, y llegaron a la conclusión que la acción fue accidental.
“No se busca si estuvo correcta o incorrecta la falta, sino, enaltecer y agradecerle a Josué Ugalde la apertura de salir luego de un hecho de agresión complicado y darse cuenta y reconocer con las imágenes que fue un accidente.
Lo que necesitábamos era que Josué estuviera altamente convencido de esta situación, porque cuando uno vive y siente algo, tan importante como una agresión, salir de eso no es fácil y él lo hizo con mucha valentía. Después de ver las imágenes, entendió que él no estaba equivocado en la decisión que tomó, pero sí reconoció que hubo un accidente”, explicó Elizondo.
De momento se desconoce si Angulo tendrá o no sanción, será hasta este jueves en horas de la tarde, antes del inicio de la Jornada 17, que se dé a conocer la decisión que tomen contra el futbolista de Liberia.
