Alajuelense exige sanción de 8 partidos y multa económica para Mariano Torres
Por el aparente insulto racista a Freddy Góndola.
Liga Deportiva Alajuelense presentó la solicitud formal de sanción para el mediocampista del Deportivo Saprissa, Mariano Torres, tras el aparente insulto racista a Freddy Góndola en la final del Torneo de Copa.
Teletica.com dio a conocer que los rojinegros solicitan una sanción de 8 partidos y una multa de ₡1 millón.
“En el caso nuestro lo que hicimos fue presentar al Tribunal Disciplinario la apertura del caso, estamos pidiendo una sanción basada en el artículo 47 del reglamento disciplinario que indica un castigo de 8 partidos y ₡1 millón a jugadores y cuerpo técnico que incurran en actos de racismo”, detalló Aquiles Mata, miembro de la Comisión Legal, al citado medio
El abogado destacó las diferencias entre el caso actual y el anterior de Jeaustin Campos y Javon East. Mencionó que mientras el caso de Jeaustin fue evaluado por el Comité de Ética, el actual se presenta ante el Comité Disciplinario.
Además, señaló que la denuncia actual se refiere a un incidente ocurrido dentro del estadio, a diferencia del caso anterior que tuvo lugar en un entorno diferente y dentro de Saprissa.
También resaltó que el Comité Disciplinario podría llegar a una resolución más rápida en comparación con el Comité de Ética, anticipando una audiencia para Saprissa esta semana y una posible respuesta más pronto.
La resolución de este caso se espera en las próximas semanas, una vez que el Comité Disciplinario haya deliberado sobre la denuncia formal presentada por la Liga.
